The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) and the Spotsy
Disc Golf Club are proud to announce that Spotsylvania, VA has been selected
from numerous applicants to host the 2019 United States Women’s Disc Golf
Championship. An international field approaching 200 of the world’s most
accomplished female players are expected to compete for the title of U.S.
Champion September 19-22, 2019. The event will be the first PDGA Major ever
held in the State of Virginia. Courses to be used will include Loriella Park as
well as 3 private facilities within the county- Cannon Ridge, The Blockhouse
Disc Golf and Country Club, and Hawk Hollow. The Spotsy Disc Golf Club is happy
to partner with disc golf’s preeminent manufacturer, Innova Discs, in
presentation of the event.

2019 USWDGC Sponsorships
The Spotsy Disc Golf Club will be hosting the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship on 19 – 22 September 2019 at various disc golf courses throughout Spotsylvania County. Spotsy Disc Golf Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity and we are currently accepting donations in support of our efforts for this event. In conjunction with our sponsorship program for the USWDGC, a portion of proceeds will be used to support a local charity. Our goal is to raise enough funds and support to donate $10,000 to Empowerhouse (http://www.empowerhouseva.org/).
Empowerhouse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose goal is to empower survivors of domestic violence and their children to believe in themselves and build new lives filled with dignity, respect, safety, and hope with a vision to create a diverse network of community members working together to promote safe relationships, homes and communities. We are working closely with the local community to arouse awareness of the disc golf event, our charity of choice and to solicit tournament sponsorship. Various levels of sponsorship are explained below.
(1) Silver sponsorship: $500
(a) Name / logo featured on tournament website.
(b) Name featured in the caddy book as a Silver sponsor.
(c) Name recognized as a sponsor on all communications with competitors.
(d) Limited edition of Hawk Hollow hot sauce.
(e) One custom tournament disc and one sponsor shirt.
(f) If applicable, flyer / brochure regarding company included in players pack.
(g) Name / company logo featured on “Silver Sponsor” signage at each course.
(2) Gold sponsorship: $1000
(a) Name / logo featured on tournament website.
(b) Name featured in the caddy book as a Gold sponsor.
(c) Name recognized as a sponsor on all communications with competitors.
(d) Limited edition of Hawk Hollow hot sauce.
(e) One custom tournament disc and one sponsor shirt.
(f) If applicable, flyer / brochure regarding company included in players pack.
(g) Name / company logo featured on “Gold Sponsor” signage at each course.
(h) Banner at the players meeting identifying all of the “Gold sponsors” and will be displayed at one of the
three courses.
(3) Course sponsorship: $2500
(a) Name / logo featured on tournament website.
(b) Name featured in the caddy book as a Course sponsor.
(c) Name recognized as a sponsor on all communications with competitors.
(d) Limited edition of Hawk Hollow hot sauce.
(e) One custom tournament disc and one sponsor shirt.
(f) If applicable, flyer / brochure regarding company included in players pack.
(g) Name / company logo featured on “Course Sponsor” signage at sponsored course.
(h) Banner at the players meeting identifying each of the “Course sponsors” and will be displayed at course
sponsored.

The 2018 Spotsy League Schedule
Leagues start time March 22- April 5
Check in by 5:15 @ Hole #1, tee at 5:30.
Leagues will take place every Thursday and beginning April 12. Check-in concluding at 5:45 and tee-time starting at 6.
